304 Stainless Steel
The heart of most TERRANERA pieces.
304 stainless steel combines strength, shine, and comfort — it’s made to be worn every day without losing its beauty. Naturally hypoallergenic, it resists tarnish, corrosion, and fading, keeping its color and luster through water, sweat, and contact with skin or perfume.
This is the foundation of our waterproof, non-tarnish jewellery: crafted for modern life, it moves with you — effortless, radiant, and enduring.
316L Stainless Steel
Known as surgical-grade steel, 316L offers an even higher level of purity and protection. Its low carbon content and added molybdenum give it exceptional resistance to oxidation, saltwater, and daily wear.
Used in selected designs that demand extra durability and a mirror-smooth finish, it’s made for those who want their pieces to stay pristine for years to come.
Titanium Steel
Lightweight yet remarkably strong, titanium steel is chosen for pieces that need extra stability without bulk. It’s resistant to scratches, corrosion, and tarnish, with a cool, clean tone and a comfortable feel on the skin.
Like stainless steel, it’s hypoallergenic and waterproof, making it ideal for everyday wear with a refined, modern edge.
Silver & 925 Sterling Silver
Some designs feature a silver-tone stainless steel, polished to perfection and offering the same waterproof, non-tarnish qualities as our gold styles.
Others are made in sterling silver (925) — a precious alloy containing 92.5% pure silver. Unlike stainless steel, sterling silver is not waterproof and can naturally oxidize or darken over time with exposure to humidity, skin pH, or cosmetics.
To preserve its gentle glow, we recommend cleaning it softly with a silver cloth and storing it in its pouch after use. Sterling silver is more delicate — a noble metal that tells its story through time.
Acrylic
Some of our designs feature acrylic accents, chosen for their lightweight feel and clarity. Durable and modern, acrylic adds a clean, contemporary touch — perfect for structured or statement pieces.
Plating Types
Electroplated
A traditional process where color or gold is deposited onto the metal using an electric current. While it produces a lovely finish, it’s thinner and less resistant than modern techniques — recommended for occasional wear.
Ion Plating (IP)
Also known as Eol Platin or Vacuum Platin, this high-energy technique bonds the color particles to the metal inside a vacuum chamber.
The result is a smooth, ultra-durable, waterproof and non-tarnish finish, resistant to everyday friction, perfume, and moisture.
PVD Coating (Physical Vapor Deposition)
The most advanced method in modern jewellery. Gold or color particles are vaporized and fused onto the metal, layer by layer, forming a molecular bond.
PVD coatings are waterproof, non-tarnish, and scratch-resistant, preserving their tone and brilliance through years of daily wear.
Plating & Finishes
Gold Tone & Gold Plating (18K Color)
Our gold pieces feature a rich 18K-toned finish, achieved through advanced plating processes like Ion Plating (IP) and PVD Coating.
Some designs are plated with a fine layer of real 18K gold, while others achieve the same warm hue through a durable color infusion. Both techniques deliver lasting brilliance and a luxurious tone designed for everyday wear.
Each piece maintains its shine and smooth surface over time — the perfect balance of beauty and endurance.
Stones & Pearls
Cubic Zircon Stones
Many TERRANERA pieces are accented with high-quality cubic zircon stones — precision-cut crystals that replicate the brilliance of diamonds without their fragility. Lightweight, durable, and perfectly clear, zircon stones reflect light beautifully, adding a refined sparkle to every design.
Freshwater Pearls
Our freshwater pearls are genuine, natural pearls formed inside living mollusks in clean freshwater environments. Each pearl has its own organic shape and luster, making every piece subtly unique.
They’re more accessible than saltwater pearls yet equally elegant — a symbol of softness, balance, and timeless femininity.
Because they’re natural, they appreciate gentle care: avoid direct perfume contact and wipe them softly after wear to preserve their shine.
Care Guide
Daily Wear
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and hairspray.
• Put on your jewelry last when getting ready, and remove it first at the end of the day.
• Do not wear jewelry while swimming — chlorine and salt water can reduce shine.
• Take off your jewelry before showering, sleeping, or exercising.
• Avoid exposure to cleaning products, bleach, and hand sanitizers.
Cleaning
• Wipe pieces regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• For a deeper clean, mix mild soap with lukewarm water and soak for 10–15 minutes.
• Gently clean with a soft cloth or toothbrush (especially for textured pieces).
• Rinse thoroughly, dry completely, and store safely.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, silver dips, or abrasive cleaners.
Storage
• Store jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep pieces in separate pouches or compartments to prevent scratching.
• Avoid storing in humid areas (like bathrooms).
• Use anti-tarnish pouches or silica gel packs for extra protection.
Specific Care by Material
• Gold-plated & PVD jewelry — durable for daily wear, but avoid sharp scratches.
• Sterling Silver (925) — polish gently with a silver-specific cloth to maintain its natural shine; avoid long exposure to humidity or water.
• Gemstones & Pearls — extra delicate; avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe softly after wear.
Travel Tips
• Carry jewelry in a travel pouch or case with compartments.
• Pack each piece separately to avoid tangling or scratching.
• Keep valuables in your hand luggage when flying.
